Paul Kivel reflects on his experiences as a Jew and situates his experiences in the context of Christian dominance. The purpose of the book, Living in the Shadow of the Cross, is to encourage everyone to reflect on their relationship with Christian hegemony and to understand how Christianity is embedded within various systems and institutions.
