The After Session Pack includes activities and lesson plans that can be used watching the “Religious Diversity in the Classroom” What’s Law got to do with it?” webinar or as stand-alone resources. The Pack aims to help educators teach students about religious diversity and religion responsibly and academically. The After Session Pack includes information about: how to develop lesson plans to teach and learn about religion and religious diversity, how educators can assess their understanding and priorities teaching about religion, how to teach about religion to meet the common core connection, and how to build a foundation to foster respect. It also includes lesson plans such as exploring the first amendment (Grade 6 – 8). Resources from Teaching Tolerance and Anti-Defamation League (ADL), such as lesson plans, tool kits and articles, are also linked in this guide.
