On December 31, 2022, Dr. Wanda Cassidy Director of the Centre for Education, Law and Society (CELS) retired. Upon her retirement and in recognition of her groundbreaking leadership of the only endowed research centre in the Faculty of Education, the centre was renamed in her honour as the Cassidy Centre for Educational Justice. You may notice our new logo, which represents the values that ground the Centre’s work: people working across difference, in collaboration, having equal access to and full participation in the conversations that drive educational research and social change for the betterment of all citizens.
