The Cassidy Centre for Educational Justice would like to congratulate Mehtab Purewal, an undergraduate research assistant at the Centre, for receiving a graduate scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council!

Mehtab will be attending the University of Toronto in September as a graduate student in the Master’s of English program. Her research will have a particular focus on the experiences and activities of female migrant labourers within the South Asian diaspora, which will be based on her analysis of various literary texts written by and about South Asian diasporic women.

The Centre congratulates Mehtab again on this exciting opportunity and prestigious award!
