To help educators teach and learn about art and culture of the Muslim world, the MET curated a resource guide, Art of the Islamic World: A Resource for Educators. This link features the Introduction to the resource guide. The Introduction includes what the goals of the resource are, why educators should include Islamic art in their teaching, what the structure of the guide is, what the recurring themes are in the Art of the Islamic World, frequently asked questions about the resource, and how teaching about Islamic art is connected to the curriculum. The resource also includes the chronology of major empires and dynasties in the Islamic world, a quick list of the featured works of art in the guide, and important facts and events pertaining to the Islamic world. Supplemental materials are included in the resource packet such as a CD and PDF of the resource book, two posters, and a family guide that can be used by individuals and educators in the classroom.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
