B.C. human rights commissioner reminds victims of anti-Muslim hate crimes there is legal help. (2021, June 10). CBC News.

British Columbia’s human rights commissioner notes a rise in in anti-Muslim hate crimes in Canada. In order to take legal actions against hate crimes and assist those who have been victims of Islamophobic violence, organizations have established legal aid such as the Islamophobia Legal Assistance Hotline. The Hotline provides legal advice and resources to those unfamiliar with the Canadian legal system. In addition, to in-person hate crimes, there is also a rise in online hate.
