Recognizing the social and economic barriers communities face, the Government of Canada is funding eight projects through the Anti-Racism Action Program to help address Islamophobia and issues pertaining to Muslim communities. The eight projects are: Breaking Down to Build Up; Debunking Arab Identity Myths and Tackling Racism; Somali Muslim Hate Crime Summit; Islamophobia Helpline for Muslim Women and Youth; Black and Muslim Youth Leadership Initiative; Empowering racialized women; Window of Quebec; Online Mosaic Anti-Hate Project; and  Ballers for Hope.
