Gardner, R. H. (Director). (2007). Cities of Light: The Rise and Fall of Islamic Spain [Film]. Unity Productions Foundation.

Cities of Light: The Rise and Fall of Islamic Spain illustrates the 700-year long history of Islamic Spain, including the civilization’s achievements and shortcomings. The film highlights that it is possible for religious groups, such as Muslims, Christians, and Jews, to co-exist and live in harmony as in the case of Islamic Spain. The unity amongst the faith groups enabled the civilization to thrive. However, threats and barriers to interfaith unity result in problems.
