Created by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Empowering Young People in the Aftermath of Hate is a resource guide for educators and families. This resource provides tools for family members and educators how to have conversations about hate incidents, terrorism, and hate crimes. In addition, ways to create an anti-bias learning environment such as talk about diversity and self-exploration are noted in the guide. Lastly, the guide includes resources educators and  families can use in the classroom  or in their homes. Topics of classroom resources include: ground rules for discussion, addressing stereotypes, and the rise of hate. Resources can be used for students in upper elementary, middle school, and high school.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
