Noting the rise of hate crimes in Vancouver, this newspaper article highlights what is a hate crime and how individuals are targeted based on their race, sex/sexual orientation, religion, and or age. The article also indicates what victims or those who witness hate crime can do such as calling the police or contacting BC Hate Crimes for resources.
