This report analyzes how people around the world view religion’s role in their countries. According to the surveys outlined in the report, religion is deemed less important than in the past. However, the responses regarding the survey varies across different parts of the world as some countries are split regarding the role religion plays, while some countries like Nigeria think religion plays an important role in their country. Moreover, more countries favour than oppose an increased role for religion.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
