In this slam poem performance, Rudy Francisco, Natasha Hooper, and Amen Ra convey a powerful message about Islamophobia. Their poem highlights the double standard that occurs when the perpetrator is Christian White male versus when the perpetrator is Muslim. The poets dispel various stereotypes and misinformation about Muslims and Islam.. They further urge individuals to become aware of the injustices against Muslim.
