The Islamophobia is Racism Syllabus is a resource guide that aims to help individuals teach and learn about anti-Muslim racism in the United States. The preface of this document explains the reason for using the term anti-Muslim racism rather than Islamophobia. Included in this guide are various books, films, journal articles, and other resources relating to topics/themes such as: race, empire and Islam; the production and reproduction of anti-Muslim racism; the impact of anti-Muslim racism; policing, security and anti-Muslim racism; resisting anti-Muslim racism; and further reading and resources. Key terms are also included for reference purposes.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
