Lamya’s Poem is an animated film about a young Syrian refugee girl, Lamya. To help her navigate through her journey, Lamya reads a book by Rumi, a Persian poet who was also a refugee and shared similar experiences as Lamya. Through a shared dream world, Lamya is able to connect and interact with Rumi. The pair work together to overcome the challenges and obstacles they both face in their dreams, allowing them to survive in the real world.
