This classroom activity created by Paul Kivel aims to help students become aware of Christian hegemony in society. The activity involves an educator asking students statements regarding their experience with Christian dominance. This document provides an outline of the rules of the activity. In addition, Kivel recommends students participate in group discussion after the activity to discuss their thoughts and insights. This activity is not meant to be a stand-alone activity, rather used alongside a workshop of a class discussion on topics such as oppression.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
