Liberal Member of Parliament, Iqra Khalid, introduced M-103:Systemic Racism and Discrimination to the House of Commons. The Motion calls upon the government to recognize hate and fear; condemn Islamophobia and all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination; and request the Heritage Committee to study how the government can reduce or eliminate racism/discrimination through policy making and to collect data regarding hate crimes.
