Naomi Shihab-Nye is a Palestinian-American author who draws on her heritage and explores humanitarian themes in her work. This website features interviews with Naomi where she discusses The Turtle Oman, a book about the journey of a young boy immigrating to America. The book highlights themes such as immigration and change. An interview about who Naomi is and how readers react to her work is also included.
