Noor Ul Islam provides an outline about the topic of safe-guarding in the curriculum. In the fall semester, classes focus on themes such as citizenship, health and wellbeing, new beginnings, animals (including humans). In the spring semester, students focus on e-safety, financial well-being, and goals. Finally, in the summer semester, students are taught about relationships, SRE and changes. Through the themes taught throughout the year to all year levels, the curriculum goal of safe-guarding is achieved.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
