This Responses to Information Request (RIR) report highlights honour killings in India. The report an overview of honour-based crimes in India, the regions in which honour crimes occur and demographics of victims of honour crimes. In addition, legislation and state responses such as police responses and court cases are identified. Lastly, information regarding support services available to honour based violence such as government support services and NGOs are included.
