The “Specific Cases” section of the “Policy on preventing discrimination based on creed” provides information on how human rights matters involving creed related discrimination in Ontario have been addressed. The section highlights different real-life examples of religious discrimination against individuals or groups, such as incidents involving work concessions, dress codes, and religious symbols. In addition, it describes how these cases were resolved through legal or other dispute resolution procedures. In order to assist individuals  who experienced discrimination on the basis of their religion, information about how one can receive aid through Ontario’s human rights legislation is included.
