Taxi To The Dark Side unfolds the rise of incarceration and torture by American forces post 9/11 by analyzing the case of an Afghan taxi driver, Dilawar. In December, 2002, Dilawar was accused of malicious activities and was later detained at the Bargan detention facility. During his detention, Dilawar was tortured and eventually died due to the grotesque treatment. To further understand the case of Dilawar and the important events which followed, this documentary includes interviews from American soldiers, journalists and a prisoner at the detention centre.
