Moskowitz, P. (2014, February 13). The Campus Free Speech Battle You’re Not Seeing. Jezebel.

Free speech on college campuses is a highly contested issue. The article highlights how students and professors must be careful when discussing issues relating to Palestine and Israel as pro-Israel organizations target individuals with anti-Israel views and label them as anti-Semitic. Engaging in anti-Israel discourse further impacts individuals as they may lose their jobs. The US government is also complicit in censoring Palestinian/Israeli discourse as they legitimize the harassment against anti-Israeli individuals as well as passing bills that focus on the critique of Israel rather than anti-Semitism.
