Knapp, M. G. (2003). The concept and practice of jihad in Islam. Parameters, 33(1), 82–94.

The author offers a solid review about understanding the classical concept of jihad, exploring  the fallacies and inconsistencies in the doctrine of jihad by radical Islamic groups, and under what circumstances these groups would be an active threat to peace and democracy.

The Teaching Against Islamophobia resources were developed with funding support from the Law Foundation of BC, and the Centre for Comparative Muslim Studies at SFU.
